My pal was great! Jessica Thank you so much I love it!! The socks are made from Plymoth Sockotta and the pattern is Conwy from Knitting on the Road. They fit perfectly! 
She also sent me soe Bertie Bots Every flavor beans that I have not been brave enough to open yet, a set of Harry Potter bookmarks, a manicure set and some purse size emery boards.
As for my knitting I have started and and almost to the heel of my Hogwarts Sock Swap 2 I love the yarn I am using I got it from the etsy dealer MacKintosh Yarns she has great yarns and great colorways and I am using the Phineas Sock Pattern
